the latest: poetry prints

My sweet friend Arielle is THE most talented poet I know. She whips out these Facebook poetry notes on the daily like they are no big deal. She has a way with her words that brings life to people, it's astonishing. And she's one of those people that makes you feel like you're a million bucks. She laughs at all my jokes, encourages me like crazy, and she makes me feel way cooler than I could ever actually be. She's a good one to keep around (and keep an eye out for, because her poetry's gonna change the world one day).

She asked me recently to design some prints of her poetry for her to share. And when a friend like her asks, you say yes. That's just how it works. We opted to do a fun, feminine collection with four different series and three prints per series. From an ombre series, to a hand-sketched travel series, to a watercolor inspired series, to my personal favorite... floral. (It had to be done, right?) You can find out more information and grab some of these printable 5x7" prints on her blog.

Desktop Wallpaper
And because I had to get in on the action and I always love a good desktop wallpaper, I opted to switch up one of my favorite prints in the series and make it into a desktop wallpaper. If you'd rather just print it out and frame it for some encouragement, you can download it here. But if you're anything like me and stare at your desktop backgrounds more than any art prints in your home, you can download this desktop wallpaper here (for free, woo!)

Free pretty stuff. That makes for a solid Friday. Happy weekend!
