design projects and stays up until 2AM creating pretty things... I was also the child that opted for HGTV over cartoons and craft stores over Toys 'R' Us.
Beyond design, I'm a candle fanatic and I surround myself with good company often. I have an extreme case of wanderlust and could happily travel anywhere at the drop of a hat. I believe in the power of a good home cooked meal and in spending all day in the corner of a local bookstore. I believe in Jesus' grace, quirky people, and laughter by the bucketfuls. I believe ultimately, that life is meant to be lived with open arms and an open heart, and that dreams are meant to be pursued relentlessly.
Where passions and dreams come in, design comes in. It is the dream I had at six years old and it's the dream I've had every day ever since. This blog was created because I always wanted to run a passionate design and lifestyle blog. I dreamt of a place where the world of right-brained creatives collided with people who just wanted to know how to start getting their creative juices flowing. I dreamt of a blog where good recipes were shared and diy projects were documented. I dreamt of my heart being fearlessly thrown onto a website.
If I stress to others to follow their dreams, I might as well follow my own, right?
