freebie: floral card

You know when you are just in the encouragement mood? The mood where you want to pull out your box of cards and write them to strangers, to neighbors, and just shamelessly drop them off at all your friend's doorsteps. The mood where any encouragement someone else throws at you makes you tear up. 

That mood is the mood that I was in when I sat down the other day to make something fun. I ended up making a series of cards (go figure, what else would a graphic designer do?) All of them had phrases that I throw around all the time, 'you made my day' being one of them. I say that phrase like it's going out to style. But my rule is I have to mean it every time.

At the rate that people say things and do things that make my day, I figured no phrase made more sense to stick on the front of a card than that... And some flowers. Cause flowers never get old and cause when I'm old and grey, I won't be a cat lady, I'll be a flower lady. Of course.

This is for those days when all you want to do is return the favor and make someone else's day.

Download the Printable PDF 'You Made My Day' Card here, then print it out on a heavier weight cardstock or any paper you love, and cut it on the outside crop marks. The center dotted line crop marks are where to fold them at the halfway point. I suggest scoring the center fold before you fold it, it makes the fold more clean (especially if you're using a heavier weight paper.) They're a whole lot prettier and a whole lot cheaper than Hallmark, can I get an Amen?
