friday night tabs

Nothing spells success like finishing the to-do list running ramped in your head before 10pm.

So I have seemingly a couple hours ahead of me before my eyes no longer can stay open and on a Friday night like this one, that can only mean one thing: my Internet Browser just blow up with far too many tabs. Here are a couple thoughts from a girl that's spending her Friday night ooing and awing over Shark Tank entrepreneurs and... you guessed it... shoes.

"Why is the online shop Nasty Gal called Nasty Gal? And why can't they be a real store down the street from me so I can buy all their rompers." I have gone back and forth on this website far more times than I am willing to admit debating whether I should just buy one of these rompers already. Especially this cute floral one with lace trim, oh Lordy. They do have their fair share of more out there clothing options, but for the most part, it's completely worth bookmarking it for good.

"Why do candles cost so much money. Why do candles burn out so quickly. And why does the fire alarm in my room go off every single time I have them lit for more than 5 minutes." This Vanilla and Oakmoss Candle from Paddywax is unquestionably my favorite scented candle. Ever. (And that comes from a chick that gets candles as gifts like nobody's business). I wish this candle was a perfume so I could just wear it everyday. Really. I should probably google how to make candles or where to find a vanilla and oakmoss scent to put in homemade candles.... instead of just wishing I could put 5 of these candles in my online shopping cart.

"Mental note: when I have a child in who knows how many years... buy them moccasins. Even if they aren't in style anymore... pretend they are." I was watching Shark Tank tonight and remembered one of the woman that was on there from my best friend's Instagram. Freshly Picked has the absolute cutest moccasins for babies, I was dying over the cute little girls modeling the shoes in the Instagram. I am by no means baby obsessed and by no means desiring a little one anytime soon, but shoot, my mom and I thought they were the cutest little shoes in the world.

Also, Shark Tank is my favorite show on television. Ahemmm, especially since Marquel got eliminated on the Bachelorette.

"Can I just be best friends with Hannah Brencher?" I feel like I should be hired as this girls publicist at the rate that I make people obsessed with her. Creator of moreloveletters.com, TED speaker, and writer with a soon-to-be published memoir. Her articles speak the things that float around in my brain that I cannot put into proper pretty words. Especially a recent article on college ending. Clearly that one blew my brain and has been read over and over (when it nearly just was written).

"I never watched Youtube videos obsessively until I found Essiebutton." This chick always seems to end up on my Internet browser tabs. I never knew about people being super successful on Youtube, was never really into that thing. But her makeup videos have made me want to actually do my makeup (shocker for me, for sure), her huge sweet dog Reggie makes me want a dog named Reggie, and her style makes me want to shop at Topshop even more than I already want to. This girl's got style, I love her taste in home decor and food, and I feel more fun and easygoing just watching her on my screen. I have enough best friends, but I could make room.

On a totally unrelated note: With a fun little gift card and a Macy's sale, I spent all of $6 on some gorgeous shoes that had an original price that was way too far out of my budget. Now I'm pretty sure Vince Camuto is my new favorite (affortable-ish) shoe designer. Macy's never lets me down when it comes to shoes, let me tell ya.

Happy Friday Night Shameless Internet Browing, my friends!
